Crimson Tide's Recent National Dominance

Since 2002, Birmingham, Alabama resident Ramon Arias has managed the 800-employee pizza franchise Bravo Corporation. When he isn't managing the Birmingham business, Ramon Arias enjoys following the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team.

Led by head coach Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide capped a remarkable run in 2015 by winning its fourth national championship in seven years. The team defeated Clemson 45-40 with current Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry contributing three touchdowns and 158 yards rushing, becoming Alabama's all-time rushing leader in the process. It was the Crimson Tide's 12th straight win after losing its third game of the season to Ole Miss.

Three years earlier Alabama defeated Notre Dame 42-14 in the BCS National Championship Game, capping a 13-1 season. It was their second consecutive championship after beating LSU 21-0 the year prior. The championship run began in 2009 as the team carried the momentum from a perfect regular season into the championship game, where it knocked off Texas 37-21. It was the school's first football national title since 1992.
